To be able to capture a moment in time is an honour. Using the process of film photography has allowed me to explore the slow pace and real study of people and surroundings. With my background, my eye is tuned to capturing the unique vignettes. The ones that stop you to look at for longer, study the expression, the colours, the meaning behind it all.
The tones that are offered to me by film are unmatched and the process of loading my camera is something I take joy in. When I’m able to slow down my work in this way, it allows for real conversation.
I crave to capture those moments. The ones you weren’t expecting me to capture.
